Step 6 and Step 7 are prayer requests made to God for the transformation of our hearts.  Willingness and Humility and the essential components here.  We strongly suggest a reading and study of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions book on Step 6 and Step 7.  A study of these chapters are attached.
  35. IMPORTANT:  Prayers can often be said without deep consideration of what is actually being prayed.  We encourage a slow and methodical praying and re-praying of these two Steps.  Read them slowly, many times over and over.  Give God time to work within you as you say them.
